In 2017, the US and Denmark will mark the 100th anniversary of the handover of the US Virgin Islands. Leading up to this historic occasion was a visit by US Virgin Islands Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. To mark his visit, the U.S. Charge d’Affaires Stephen Cristina hosted a reception in his honor. DABF and the U.S. Embassy also held a pre-reception meeting on incorporating the US Virgin Islands into your business strategy.

US has put crisis behind it: Creating growth for DK companies
The trade relationship between the US and Denmark is growing ever stronger. According to Pia Olsen Dyhr, Denmark's Minister for Trade and Investment: "There is unexploited opportunity for Danish compnaies in the US market. We have to grab our chances. In addition to green technology, there's also great opportunity for Danish companies in the fields of health technology, design and innovation".
