This event will discuss and explore better ways to support the prime contractors of the US Air base in Thule, Greenland. The purpose of the conference is to foster partnerships between the US Government and industry as well as to increase the industry’s awareness of business opportunities related to acquisitions for Thule Air Base, Greenland.
The range of contracting conducted by Detachment 1 includes:
· Operations/maintenance
· Construction
· Architect/engineering services
· Supplies
· Air-lift and sea-lift transportation
The budget for the Thule Air Base for food, supplies, services etc. is roughly DKK 30 million.
