The two-day showcase is a business and investment promotion and networking opportunity brought to you by the American Embassy in Denmark and the Danish Ministry of Defense. It will bring together representatives from United States, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, and Finnish defense and security industries, as well as government, academic, and venture capital representatives, all of them committed to exploring business and investment opportunities.
Areas for exploration include direct business relationships, research and development, investment and business development, and regulatory issues. There will be guest speakers from industry and government. Multiple extended break periods have been built into the schedule to allow time to visit display tables and network with government and company representatives. The event will close with a reception at the U.S. Ambassador’s historic residence in Charlottenlund, north of Copenhagen.
Invitees include companies from the Nordic region that have tremendous potential for supporting initiatives such as Improvised Explosive Device counter-measures, Net-Centric warfare, the Joint Strike Fighter, Ballistic Missile Defense, Maritime Domain Awareness, border and transportation security, critical infrastructure protection and emergency preparedness and response.
