John Bacon, founder and Chairman of IP2Biz LLC John Bacon has spent his entire career involved with early stage technology, creating early markets for breakthrough technologies. John was an executive for 17 years with Scientific-Atlanta, Inc. He was a software entrepreneur for more than 15 years, running several venture capital-backed companies and taking two of them public, one in the US and one in Europe, after raising close to $40 million from seven venture capital firms.

After those 9 inspiring years he spent 10 years in management consulting and now almost 13 years in IBM working with business development on the front-edge of IBM's business.
