The Boeing Technology Alliance (BTA) gives the Boeing Company exposure to mature and emerging technologies that are new to aerospace markets, through a unique mix of technology referral agents. The BTA consists of selected economic trade and development organizations, regional technology alliances, large corporations in adjacent markets, private equity firms, technology incubators, university technology transition offices, and other entities.
The Boeing Technology Alliance Annual Conference took place 18-20 October 2010. LtCol Per Lyse Rasmussen of the Royal Danish Embassy in Washington D.C. participated in the event as a member of the BTA. The Danish-American Business Forum is also a member of the BTA. The goals for this conference were to bring BTA members together with the Boeing team and other key Boeing representatives to provide new opportunities to learn about Boeing technology strategy and needs, to network, and to stimulate ideas for how Boeing can better use the Alliance to bring value to Boeing products.
